Ability Is Nothing Without Opportunity

I believe that every human being were born with abilities. Same goes to me! I would like to label myself as a great cook. (p/s yeap I am a narcissist) I love cooking so much. It cheer me up seeing people enjoying the food I made. But of course there a storm at the beginning of this journey hehe. Everything start with the basic things. I started to cook when I was 11 years old. At that time, my parents were busy working and my sister and I were in charged to take care of our little siblings. My first meal I cooked is fried rice. Guess what? It was a disaster. Too salty! But  I do not think of giving up that time. My sibling were my main commentator since the beginning. I took every critics given by them to improve my cooking skill, although it is painful to hear it. I cooked fried rice everyday and it getting better day by day. After mastering cooking the fried rice, I continued cooking other basic meals like noodles and bihun.  Now,  I had challenged myself to cook all sorts of dish like paprik chicken, butter chicken, tomyam and many more. How I wish I can list down all here.  

 Me thinking what trash should I cook next time. 

Other than that, I can also bake a cake! So far, I had made cheese kek, red velvet, brownies, kek batik and cheese cake.  But yet I still need to learn more on how to improve my cooking to a next level. 

I always adore my mom with her cooking skills. How can someone be so good in cooking yet still be good in other things too.  I took her as my inspiration. My mom run a restaurant at Kluang, Johor. She can cook most of the Malay dishes! My favorite was Laksa Penang.

I believed that abilities can be created through opportunity. If you do not know how to do it, find the opportunity. Grab it! Learn it! It is really okay to fail at the beginning because failure is necessary to succeed. By failing, you know where is your weakness. Knowing your weaknesses is the opportunity to be better person in the future. The five last words is the true ability that everyone should possess :)
